The oldest of her siblings, Annie maintains the company's vision and balance... both spiritually and on the books.
One of her many talents includes making Excel cut back flips while making you laugh from her witty remarks, often leaving you feeling inspired.
She's making a difference in CenLa as well as across our state & country through the various organizations she serves.

NICK ST. ROMAIN

CO-OWNER / CBDO
In the middle but far from average, Nick maintains the company's opportunities. Whether it's a new fuel agreement, pioneering technology, construction at stores, or taste-testing in the kitchen, he is in his element. He's always willing to dream big and swing for the fences. Because Y-Not? His genuine, laid-back demeanor is accompanied by a wealth of knowledge & random fun facts about almost any topic.

ZACK ST. ROMAIN

CO-OWNER / COO
The youngest and most likely to be wearing oil or flour, Zack maintains the company's service. His favorite place is behind the fryer in the kitchen, which is where he began with the company while still in college. Most days, you'll find him on the road connecting with the store teams. His passion for coaching people and innovating is often served up with authentic humor, relatability & random song outbursts.

St. Romain Oil Company, Inc. was founded by Edmond St. Romain to provide quality fuels and lubricants to farmers, loggers, construction, riverboats, generators and service stations in central Louisiana.

1987

We bought our first convenience store, a Shell station on Highway 1 in Mansura. Edmond named the store "Wash-N-Go" because it had a car wash. Three years later we built our first ground-up location in Marksville, it too had a car wash and was called "Wash-N-Go".

1993

Edmond's son, Todd, and his wife Sondra purchased the company and continued to grow the business. During the next 15 years we bought or built stores in Hessmer, Bunkie, Cottonport, Simmesport, Ville Platte & Deville. We also purchased six other wholesale distributors along the way.

2007

The name “Y-Not Stop” was coined when a new store concept was built in Barber Spur at a fork in the road, or a “Y.” Since that's what the locals called the area, we found ourselves calling it that, too. Y-Not Stop came about, and the name stuck! The new concept featured a cypress exterior, a large seating area for guests to enjoy their fresh, homemade Y-Notta burgers and other freshly-prepared food, a Beer Cave, ultramodern technologies, and a wide selection of unique products, snacks, and treats. Since then, our new and remodeled locations have also been named Y-Not Stop.

2009

We sold our commercial fuels division and relocated our corporate center to the Industrial Loop between Mansura and Marksville, streamlining our operations and allowing us to better focus on our direct retail business. We built our 2^ndY-Not Stop location in Jonesville.

2011

After opening our 3^rd Y-Not Stop, near LSUA in Alexandria, we began to focus on developing the Y-Not Stop brand and transitioned from 3 to 9 Y-Not Stops with one more planned conversion to finalize our rebranding of our entire network of company-operated stores.

2016

St. Romain Oil redeemed Todd & Sondra’s ownership interests, leaving Anne, Nick & Zack as equal owner partners. We also signed our first licensing agreements for 2 stores in Broussard & Boyce.
